When Simmonds founded the British blues band Savoy Brown in 1965, he assured himself a place as one of the founding fathers of British blues alongside guitarists Eric Clapton, Peter Green and Mick Taylor.  This is his first solo album -- an album of acoustic blues.  Kim does all the singing and playing on acoustic and slide guitar, Dobro, harmonica and piano.
