2000 Grammy Nominee Odetta Keeps Hot With Continuous Touring For Her New CD, "Lookin' For A Home" on M.C. Records
Odetta is supporting her two M.C. Records releases,  Grammy nominated  "Blues Everywhere I Go", and the just released "Lookin' For A Home" with a coast-to-coast tour. Her second effort for M.C. Records, a tribute to Leadbelly, includes special guests Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Big Jack Johnson, Henry Butler & Kim Wilson. The release hit the stores on August 28.

Odetta rocked  the Beacon Theater last year at The Rainforest benefit, along with Keith Richards, Dr. John, Kim Wilson & Jackson Browne.  She has also performed with Ray Charles  and Al Green, and has appeared on CBS Saturday Morning,  The World Cafe, The Ainsley Harriot Show, People Magazine, N.P.R.'s Weekend Edition, The House of Blues Radio Hour, The Metro Guide,the covers of Real Blues and Dirty Linen Magazine to name a few. In 1999 Odetta received the prestigious Presidential Medal of Arts Award fromPresident Clinton.
