R.L. Burnside To Appear In Oxford American Music Issue, M.C. Records Taking An Ad

M.C. Records is excited to announce that North Mississippi bluesman R.L. Burnside will be featured in the music issue of "The Oxford American." An article about R.L. will appear in the magazine as well as a cut from his latest Fat Possum release on the music sampler. While we wish they would have picked a cut from our release "Well... Well...Well... "(MC-0042 released March 23) we¹re glad he is getting his due. To celebrate, M.C  Records will  be taking an ad in the music issue due out the second week in July.   The Oxford American music issue has a circulation of over 80,000.

Since the release of "Well... Well...Well..."  R.L. Burnside has appeared on N.P.R.¹s Weekend Edition, MTV.COM, and the CD has been played on over 100 stations from coast-to-coast including the syndicated American Routes.  M.C Records has placed over 10,000 copies of "Well... Well...Well..." since March of 2001
