The Fabulous Thunderbirds, has signed with M.C. Records to release his first full-length solo live recording ever. The new release -- titled Smokin' Joint--
hit the stores July of 2001. Several concerts were recorded for this project but only the finest 100% unadulterated blues will make the cut. Look for Rusty Zinn and Billy
Flynn to add their fiery guitar playing to Kim Wilson's rich vocals and deep harmonica playing. This is Wilson's first solo recording since 1997 and his first full-length live recording

appear on The Woodsongs Radio Hour, over 200stations in the U.S. & Canada Also...Kim Wilson added his soulful harmonica to Odetta's follow up recording to
her 2000 Grammy nominated release, Blues Everywhere I Go. The historic CD will be out over the summer and will be a tribute to Leadbelly.

The two were in Memphis to record a future release on M.C. Records featuring Big Jack on electric & acoustic guitars, mandolin and vocals and Kim on harp for every
